Water Polo - Girls

2024 Season Information

To keep up with the latest news as the season approaches, please email IHSwaterpoloclub@gmail.com to be added to our TeamSnap list.

We can’t wait for the Spring Water Polo season to start!  Water polo is the most exciting sport you may have never heard of! Our players range from water polo novices to players with years of competitive experience.

No water polo experience needed. All are welcome; you just need to be able to swim. We'll teach you the rest!

Head Coach: Laura Rudolph

  • Coach Laura is very skilled at working with athletes at all experience levels and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Coach Laura was named HS Girls Coach of the Year in 2019 after coaching our then-underdog team to a 3rd place finish at State! In 2022 she led a team of 8, including new players, to 4th place in Division 1!  The majority of our 2023 team were freshmen who had never played water polo before; the entire league was very impressed with how quickly they learned from Coach Laura!
  • Laura has been playing water polo since age 14, including varsity polo at UC Santa Cruz, where she earned team MVP, best offensive player, and most inspirational awards.

Note:  As a club sport, water polo is pay to play.  See “costs” section below.  Financial aid is available.

  • Season fee: $450 per player, by check payable to Ingraham Water Polo Club.
  • Player fees do not cover all costs for the season, but a few families have pledged donations to allow us to offer the full program to benefit the most athletes possible.
