Fundraising & Accounts
Team/Club Fundraising
Online Donations
Anyone at any time can make a donation directly to a team or club account within IABC by specifying them in the purpose field on the general donation form here: https://app.aplos.com/aws/give/IABC/Donations
Note, our provider has moved donation forms to a new platform, so individual team forms are not currently available. Old links are being redirected to the new general form, where donors can make a general donation or select the team they'd like to donate directly to.
Fundraising events require approval from the Ingraham Athletic Director. You may be asked to provide more information for the Treasurer and Athletic Director to ensure we can support your request. Be prepared for turnaround time to take up to 5-7 days.
Please note: Parents must lead IABC events. Student led fundraising events must be run through ASB.
Check Donations
Checks can be left in the IABC mailbox in the main office or mailed to the school (Attention: IABC, Ingraham High School, 1819 N 135th St, Seattle, WA 98133). Checks should be made out to IABC. Include team name (e.g. Baseball, Girls Soccer, etc.) in memo field of the check. NO CASH accepted!
Using Team/Club Account Funds
Each team and club has their own fund account within the IABC accounting platform, maintained by the Treasurer. Click here for the Current Balances.
Head Coaches are responsible for budgeting and approving the use of IABC team/club funds. For WIAA teams, work with the Athletic Director first to determine what is covered by the District, then ASB funds, and then supplemented with Booster funds. IABC funds can be used for the following expense categories:
- Banquets/Celebrations
- Camps/Conditioning/Specialty Training
- Coach Training/Certification
- Consumables/Snacks/Team Meals
- Equipment
- Tournament/League/Field Fees
- Transportation/Travel
- Uniforms/Clothing
- Subscriptions (such as Veo and Hudl)
Please note: Items of a safety nature MUST BE provided by the Seattle School District.
Please note: IABC team funds CANNOT be used to pay for coach salaries, stipends, or gifts.
The funds can be used by requesting a reimbursement for an approved purchase by presenting an original invoice or receipt. Or if necessary, the IABC Treasurer can place an order on behalf of the team. To initiate a reimbursement or order:
- Download and save a copy of the Disbursal Request Form here
- Rename it to include the team name and date
- Fill out the form
- Email the completed form and receipts/invoices to the head coach (if completed by someone else) and to the IABC Treasurer at IABCTreasurer@gmail.com
Special Purpose Accounts
In addition to team/club accounts, IABC funds the following special purpose accounts:
- Breakfast of Champions - to raise the funds to allocate to that year's top priorities
- Athletic Trainer Hours - to ensure trainer availability as much as possible by paying for hours not covered by the district
- CPR & Advanced Coach Training - to help develop, reward, and retain great coaches by providing grants for special trainings in their sport and to cover group CPR training/certification sessions
- State (and Nationals) Travel Contingency Fund - to help pay travel expenses necessary for teams to be able to attend
- Ingraham Pride Display - to pay for items that show pride in our school and our athletes, such as the banners in the gym, varsity letters and pins, etc.
- Strength & Conditioning Space - to build out a welcoming space for athletes to build strength and conditioning in exercises most valuable for avoiding injury

Advanced Coach Training Requests
The 2024 Breakfast of Champions raised $5000 to start an Advanced Coach Training Fund. The purpose is to reward and retain our great coaches by helping pay for advanced coach training in their sport.
- Who is eligible? Coaches who are committed to at least their 3rd year coaching a team at Ingraham.
- What can be paid for with this fund? Fees for courses to further develop as a coach and/or necessary to be eligible to coach at Ingraham.
- How to apply? As soon as you are eligible and identify a training need, submit your request via this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSevffvgCWt3gPQOq7pz2lqjakzBre6n0JzIln88EifbTo8AFw/viewform?usp=sharing
- What's the approval process? This will evolve as we begin to receive requests and learn from them. Requests received by the 1st of the month will be considered at the next IABC general meeting (usually the 2nd Tuesday of the month). The AD and IABC will approve requests on a first come first served basis at the monthly IABC meetings if it is clear that granting the request will benefit athletics at Ingraham and there are sufficient funds available.
Team/Club Grants - No longer use this approach
Instead of encouraging supporters to donate to the general fund and then awarding grants to teams, we have shifted to raising funds for specific purposes. We encourage teams/clubs to do their own fundraising and use direct ask campaigns through IABC as needed. We have found direct appeals raise much more money and empower teams to meet their needs more efficiently than the old grant process.
Nevertheless, as soon as Coaches identify a need that may be beyond the team's fundraising ability, they should bring it to the attention of the Athletic Director as far in advance of the next season as possible. The AD can help determine what funding options are available and whether or not it makes sense to pursue additional support from IABC.
